Antitrust offers to raise gas prices for industry, people 3% Jul

MOSCOW, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service has prepared draft orders to index the regulated wholesale gas prices for the industry and households by 3% in July, according to the documents seen by PRIME on Tuesday.

A draft order on the gas prices of Gazprom and its affiliates for households sets a 3% price increase from July 1. A separate draft order on gas prices for the industry also contains a 3% price rise.

In 2019, gas prices rose 1.4%. The Economic Development Ministry forecasted a 3% growth in 2020 and an up to 3% rise in 2021–2024.
